For Thurs: Create your card. List unusual stylistic elements.
For Fri: Define essay (in the classic sense), rhetoric, discourse.
For "Soon": Create your blog and email me the address. Follow the steps on the sheet I gave you or see me or a classmate for help.

I know it sounds completely silly, but I'm so excited that your class is starting their blogs so early, b/c now, when I get bored of doing my homework, I can read all their blogs and try to be the 'cool college freshman' who comments on their stuff.
