Final Instructions...

A few things to remember...

Post your video and your essay to your blog by Friday afternoon. I will grade over the weekend and determine exemptions and 4th marking period grades.

Read, watch, and comment on one another's projects. They're great!

Don't forget to EMAIL your video to me at my gmail.com address. I must have it by Tuesday to be ready for final exam presentations that begin on Wednesday. Be prepared for a verbal rhetorical analysis of your project.

Read your books! Discussions Thursday, Monday, Tuesday, and Monday (June 15).

Final thoughts... Overcoming Reader's Block.

Methinks I caught this guy's attention. Perhaps I misjudged him from the first couple blog responses he left. I don't think he's really aggressive, and judging from this post, probably just popped in for a moment. Eccentric, but harmless. Perhaps even friendly. That's my take, anyway.

By the way, you ought to see the amount of taunting he left on my blog. I think the two of us would probably get along quite well, bickering nonstop.

perhaps...

Oh, he's back already?
So much for the whole "next year" plan.

I'm leaving you a random comment so I can check if the times are right on the posts... Shay and I are up to something.

SSNickel and I have one last project we are planning for your class. I am sure you will approve, and we will explain it all tomorrow. In case you were wondernig, I do currently have a very evil look on my face. :)

Shay? Evil? Impossible.

have you figured out who I am yet... well I wish you the best of luck in putting all the clues together, and because I think you're really cool, I'll just give you a clue with no strings attached

I am a fan of Nathan Haselbauer

I believe your clues have led me to an answer. However, because I don't want to believe that you would violate the trust of your classmates, I'm going to pretend I don't know.

yeah, that's right... it is better to live in denial... makes life simpler and a whole lot more fun if you seriously ask me... then again, why would you ask me, a simple oxy-moron?

from one friend to another... please read my blog

oh, and pass it on to your students too, please!

Hahaha... I think the ox was on my XC team... and in this class...the other one.

Wow, that nathen haselbauer comment was CLEARLY intended to lead everyone to believe that theOX is someone who presented the High IQ Society to both classes. However, its totally not that person. The writing style and humor don't match up, that person cant even get onto their own account, and that person just wouldn't be interested in doing something as trivial as this since they barely check the blog to begin with. nicely played though.

Message from Diego: I am unable to log into my account, so I am posting from Elle's as per her recommendation. Now, it has come to my attention that a general consensus has been reached alleging that I am "theOX." To those who know me closely, you know that I love to argue, to debate. And for those of you fortunate enough to have had discourse with me, you know that my style of argumentation is vastly different from that of theOX, my diction far less abecedarian, and my attacks far less puerile. The debates that I endeavor to take part in are ones of considerable desideratun--global issues, economics, philosophy. The ox's rating are meaningless and misguided at best. So to theOX I say: I would love nothing more than to settle this the old-fashioned way. Join me in a battle of wit and words, and come armed, for you are in deeper than you would comprehend. Present yourself! I will be waiting.

Again, this is a message from DIEGO.

Diego, take it easy. I'm pretty sure nobody thinks you're theOX. And theOX has actually been patiently waiting for you to start arguing with him. Relax and bicker like a professional, please.

Diego: I do understand that things do not all match up with your personality as far as the Ox goes but here is my argument: people can change on the internet. You can become anyone you want to be. I also find it just as ridiculous that some believe that I am the Ox because this person has said some truly hurtful, ridiculous, and disgustingly malicious. I feel pity for whoever this person is because it must be a terribly sad existence when all you have to do is comment on a blog where students try to be vulnerable and really give it all they can with their writing. I know that the Ox is someone in our class or has a connection to our class due to some comments made and I sincerely hope you improve your personality because at this point, it sucks. Plain and simple. Maybe if you weren't such a wimp you would have the guts to say the things you are posting on people's blogs to our face. When you decide to have a backbone, feel free to let me know.

by the way Diego, that entire thing was not directed at you I just happened to address you in the beginning and then never changed it.

Insults demean. But the true crime is when freedom and expression are driven away.

theOX said...

Diego... I am your alternate personality... you just don't know about me yet... time to face the facts, nerd, you're a psycho....

and as for battle of the words, you are no match... do not harp upon my writing style... it is very advanced considering I failed out of school after I missed that assignment like you so boldly did.... also, you suck!

as for you, teacher, I fully appologize for doing this all over your blog...

it's just...

your stupid students are begging for it... if they would just shut their freak'n computers off, this would all be over by now... however, because they so eagerly replied, I will never go away... I'll see ya next year! I genuinely hope I haven't completely ruined your blogging expierence and your last day of school!
