Here's the revised week...note some reordering of things...
Tuesday: Due: Synthesis prompt--paper copy. EMAIL it to me by Wednesday. Review Ch. 3 in Language and Composition. Begin discussion of "big ideas" in Brave New World--bring both books to class. (Counts as a workout!)
HW: Read and score "museum" sample essays for Wednesday. For Thursday, read article "Everybody is Happy Now." Annotate and use to add to topic list.
Wednesday: Review "museum" scored samples and commentary. Continue BNW discussion.
Thursday: Discuss "Everybody is Happy Now." Finalize topic lists. Distribute Synthesis prompts. HW: 15 minute reading time for sources. Tomorrow: Write response.
Friday: In-class AP Prompt: Synthesis
Weekend HW: Blog on BNW/1984 Prompt. Due midnight on Sunday. Respond to two people by midnight on Tuesday.

AP Language is now represented on the International High IQ Society! I enlisted some help from people in the society in hopes of increasing the intellectual level of commenting on the blog! In order to avoid criticism and harsh disproofs, do better work! Haha this could get interesting...You all know how I like a little debate every now and then; nothing wrong with a little challenge, right?
