Well, you see, The Times bogged me down, so that this past week I have been unfaithful to The Times and "The Caucus" in an effort to catch up. And yet, I must concede my own failures. If I had diligently read The Times and beyond, perhaps I would have been able to predict this turn of events.
But, more importantly, my time management issues beg the question of how YOU are able to read The Times, The New Yorker, some cycling magazine, stuff on Jack Lynch's site, literary magazines, The Wall Street Journal, books, and only GOD knows WHAT ELSE, while grading papers and single-handedly saving the school from illiteracy. It's totally not fair.
I, too, have always wondered where you got the time to do all that, Ms. H. Do you have some time stopping button we should be aware of? Or do you read faster than the speed of light? And if so, where does one learn/obtain such an ability?

I thought your reading of The Times was the reason you were behind on everything else. What have you been doing?

Actually, I'm a very slow reader. But it's all I do!
